Turning the Working Cannula
A 74-year-old female patient. Spinal stabilization was performed at L4-L5. She has a right L5-S1 disc herniation and right L5-S1 foramen stenosis. After completing right L5-S1 transforaminal discectomy, the working cannula was rotated 90 degrees clockwise to visualize the exiting right L5 root. Technique: Outside-in, Anesthesia: Local + light sedation.
